Not so clever

Imagine you are a diehard supporter of a football club. You’ve hear a rumour that your club is going to buy a top player from a rival club. What would you do? Wait until it is certain? Or would you already tattoo his name on your back…

Most of u would choose the first option, but not Simon Hart. The Manchester City fan was so convinced/deluded that Wayne Rooney was going to join the Eastland’s club, that he decided to get a tattoo of the Manchester United striker on his back, with the immortal words ‘ROONEY CITY LEGEND’.

 

We all know what happened next. Rooney, backtracked on his comments that he wanted to leave Man. United by signing a 5 year contract last week to leave poor Simon feeling and looking like a not so clever man.
